About me
In my role as Executive Director of Black Buildup, my journey has taught me the importance of driving change from within and recognizing our own areas for improvement. I've learned that real growth often requires a hard look in the mirror to identify where we can do better, not just relying on external support.
My experience across various leadership positions, including impactful work with the UN and major corporations, has shown me that accountability and a commitment to self-improvement are crucial for meaningful progress. I believe in leading by example, demonstrating how acknowledging our faults and learning from them can make us stronger and more effective in our missions.
At the forum, I'm eager to share insights on fostering internal growth and resilience, and how these efforts can empower communities. Let's discuss strategies for self-improvement and how we can collectively advance by owning our stories and learning from our experiences.
