Sarah Anne is a proud culturally Deaf member and American Sign Language user. On the side, she has run her own tile company, Oknec Tile and Stone. She is also a MBA candidate at Royal Roads University. Sarah Anne was also employed at Ministry of Children and Family Development, Provincial Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services and supported numerous of deaf and hard of hearing youth and their families navigating throughout the system for services and resources. She has an in-depth understanding and personally experienced various barriers as a Deaf citizen and is active in advocating for equity in various levels.
